Disney OBSESSION!

Hi, my name is Mary and I am completely obsessed with EVERYTHING Disney and have been for some time now.  I can admit it.  I am controlled by a group of Princesses and a Mouse.  My husband tells me that I have probably forgotten more about Disney than he ever knew.  But when it comes to Disney and especially Disney World, I can write a book.

My obsession is a relatively new one.  Within the past 10 years.  I have been to Disney World as a child and it was fun.  But I was never into it like I am now.  I have been to Disney MORE as an adult than I ever was as a child.  And if we can swing it, we will be going every year until the kids tell me they don't want to go anymore.

I have been trying to figure out WHY I have a new obsession with Disney.  I think I have figured it out.  Its not MY love of Princesses and some Mice, its the magic that I can give my children.  I am addicted to the excitement that fills their eyes when they think of going to Disney.  Its the Magic that happens when your child sees Mickey Mouse, for the first time or the fortieth.  Its special EVERY TIME!

Well its magical for now!  So soon they will grow up and not believe in the magic anymore.  My daughter is 10.  The first time we took her to Disney World she was 5 and a half.  It was wonderful being able to take her there and see Cinderella and everything that she had only dreamed of.  We had lunch in the castle and had pictures with Cinderella.  It was magical even for me!  I mean who doesn't dream of Fairy Tales as a child?  But as she has grown out of princesses she still LOVES going.  And she still gets excited about the thought of going to Disney.  Which is probably a good thing since she has 2 little brothers who are still in the "magical" I believe Disney is REAL phase of life.

So now I am obsessed with squeezing as much magic out of Disney while my kids are little as possible!  Now if only I had a Fairy God Mother who could make it all happen.  The question isn't IF we want to go, its HOW are we going to pay for it all?????

We went to Disney World in 2006.  We went back in 2010.  We have a trip scheduled for 2011 and I am already thinking ahead to 2012 and 2013.  But now the hard part.  And its not trying to convince my husband to go!  Luckily, he loves Disney for the same reasons I do.  Its ALL about the kids and the "magic" we can give to them.  Now if 'Magically" I could come up with some extra money to pay for Disney.  Luckily, I have a plan!
